I love to show off...

I went 2 CVS 2day to look for Christmas clearance stuff. I got a couple of good deals on ribbon, and holiday oils scents. I also got a mug, that I thought was a Christmas item, but turned out to just have Christmas packaging. So when I got home I unwrapped the mug and found out that I can put pictures in it. Now I can show off my family, so worth the 3.99!!!

I guess I would say it brings me more appreciation of being a wife, and mother. I love my family so much!! Bring on 2010!! Can't wait 2 make many more memories, it's going to be an exciting year. I just know it!!

Has this ever happened to you....

At this current time I'm at a book store, and using my laptop. I got here pretty much when the store opened, and as I entered a lady was setting up and practicing her harp, playing Christmas music. As I sat here surfing the web, and chatting, kinda tuning out everything that was surrounding me. It was ironic, I was chatting with an old high school friend about how we were getting old, and I told him how I miss being a teen again. While in that mind frame I kinda completely tuned out, until I heard a little kid yelling in their high pitch voice, Serena, Serena...This then put me back in Kindergarten back at Brentwood Elementary while we were getting in line with our pointer fingers to our lips, whispering ssshhhh, to everyone talking. We all wanted to go outside and play at recess. How I wish I could go back to those days, when life was not about working, and concerning yourself to get married, worrying bills aren't getting paid. The feeling of not caring, having fun, enjoying being a kid.
